This is where cool air gets pulled into your computer and blown over the internal components before being expelled from the rear or side. The electrical components in a computer generate heat, and fans inside the computer help move the air to keep the components cooled to normal operating temperatures. Inadequate cooling can cause excess heat which forces the fan to run constantly, can damage components, and limit the speed of the CPU. One of the common causes of the excessive heat is clogged vents which will prevent your air cooling scheme from working.

Microsoft Retires Windows Live Messenger

Windows Live Messenger, Microsoft’s long time instant messaging application is set for a major change and rebranding. The client was first released as MSN Messenger on July 22, 1999 and as Windows Live Messenger on December 13, 2005. Microsoft has announced that the Messenger brand and client will be pensioned off in the first quarter of 2013. It will be replaced by the Skype client and Skype name everywhere, except for China, which will retain the Messenger naming. The transition from Messenger to Skype has begun already with the latest version of Skype adding support for Messenger contacts and chat.
